Why Digital Mockups?
Since starting faceup commissions, I’ve realized how difficult it is to transition a dream or vision in your mind to a faceup on resin. Often it’s not right the first time, and sometimes it takes a couple of iterations before you’re satisfied.
Digital mockups take away all of the stress of bringing those visions to life! I start every faceup with a mockup – which is done in Photoshop using a photo of your clean (and color matched) head. I can then use that mockup to reference for the real faceup.
Will my faceup look just like the mockup?
There is a huge difference between painting on a 3D resin surface and editing in Photoshop. The faceup will be replicated as closely as I can, but it will not be 100% perfectly duplicated.
Do other services get mockups?
By default, I only do mockups for faceups. If you’re getting another service and want a mockup for it just let me know and I can add it to your commission at no extra cost!
